Dokki User Service Agreement

Important Notice

Welcome to Dokki. Before registering or using Dokki, please carefully read and fully understand this User Service Agreement, especially terms about eligibility, location-based functions, paid services, automatic renewal, refunds, privacy protection, content rules, account handling, liability limitations, and dispute resolution.

  1. Adults only. Dokki is provided only to adults who are at least 18 years old. Minors may not register or use the service.

  2. Location and nearby features. Dokki's nearby people, nearby posts, and related functions may require location permission. Location information may include approximate or precise location. Precise location may be sensitive personal information. You may disable location permission in system settings or in-app settings, but nearby functions may become unavailable.

  3. Paid services and automatic renewal. Dokki may provide paid membership or value-added services. Some services may use automatic renewal. Please carefully read the service period, price, charging rules, and cancellation method before purchase.

  4. Refunds. Refund channels and rules may be affected by your payment channel, such as App Store or Google Play, and applicable laws. Please carefully read the relevant terms before purchase.

  5. Third-party SDKs. Dokki may integrate third-party SDKs for advertising display, analytics, and other purposes, including but not limited to Pangle and Google Analytics. Personal information processing rules are described in the Dokki Privacy Policy.

1. Account Registration and Eligibility

  1. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have full civil capacity. Anyone under 18 may not register an account or use the service. We may request reasonable age or identity verification where necessary. If we find that you are not eligible, we may restrict or terminate the service and handle your account according to rules.

  2. You need to register a Dokki account before using the service. A Dokki account is usually registered and bound with a mobile phone number. Please use a phone number that has not been bound to another Dokki account and has not been restricted or banned by us.

  3. Dokki is a location-based mobile social product. To provide nearby people, nearby posts, distance calculation, display, anti-abuse, and security risk-control functions, we may collect and use your location information after your authorization.

  4. Based on account registration and login methods, you agree that we may use the mobile phone number you provide and device information permitted by system and law for registration, login, account security, and risk control. If you use carrier one-tap login or authentication, the carrier's displayed terms apply.

  5. During registration and use, we may collect personal information necessary for account creation, identity verification, service provision, and security. We process personal information according to the Dokki Privacy Policy, following lawful, legitimate, necessary, and minimal-impact principles.

2. Service Content

Dokki provides services according to actual product conditions, including but not limited to instant messaging, adding friends, joining groups, following others, posting content, replying, and other social functions. Dokki may modify service content, and service content may change at any time. We will provide notice of material changes where appropriate.

3. Paid Services, Automatic Renewal, and Refunds

  1. Paid services. Dokki may provide paid membership or other value-added services. Specific content, benefits, service period, price, and purchase method are subject to the relevant Dokki pages.

  2. Automatic renewal. Some paid services may be provided as periodic subscriptions with automatic renewal. If you activate automatic renewal, you authorize fees to be deducted from your payment account before expiry according to the selected period and price, and the service period will be extended accordingly.

  3. Cancellation. You may cancel automatic renewal through the subscription management page of the corresponding payment channel, such as Apple ID subscription settings, Google Play subscription settings, or other channel instructions. Cancellation does not affect paid benefits already within the valid period.

  4. Charging and reconciliation. If you pay or subscribe through App Store, Google Play, or other third-party channels, charging and reconciliation follow that channel's rules and bills. If payment succeeds but benefits are not activated, you may submit order information through in-app customer service for assistance.

  5. Refund rules. Paid services are virtual digital services. Once activated, refunds are generally not supported unless required by law, platform rules, or a specific Dokki announcement. Refund requests through third-party channels are reviewed under that channel's rules.

4. Personal Information Protection

  1. When registering or using the service, you may need to provide necessary personal information. If the information is incomplete or does not meet legal requirements, you may be unable to use the service or may be restricted.

  2. User personal information may include information you provide, information shared by other parties, and information we lawfully collect to provide services, such as device or software information, log information, browsing or interaction records, and location information when you enable location functions.

  3. Protecting user personal information is an important principle of Dokki. We will take technical and other necessary measures to protect personal information from leakage, damage, or loss. If such an event occurs or may occur, we will take remedial measures and notify users as required.

  4. Dokki will not publicly disclose personal private information without user consent, except as required by law, competent authorities, user disclosure, agreed sharing, account sharing caused by users, force majeure, or other legally permitted circumstances.

  5. Dokki may use user personal information for authentication, service provision, security, customer service, improvement of products, legal compliance, and other purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

  6. We attach great importance to protecting minors. Dokki is for users aged 18 or above. Minors under 18 may not register or use the service.

  7. Dokki provides location-based mobile social services. After authorization, we may collect and use your location information for nearby features, distance calculation, anti-abuse, and security risk control. You may manage location permission in system settings or in-app settings.

  8. To improve technology and services, Dokki may collect, use, or share non-personal or de-identified information where permitted.

  9. We collect and use personal information under lawful, legitimate, and necessary principles and do not collect information unrelated to the service.

  10. The Dokki Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information. By using Dokki, you confirm and agree to the Privacy Policy.

  11. To provide advertising, analytics, crash diagnosis, and other functions, we may integrate third-party SDKs, including Pangle and Google Analytics. We process relevant information according to the Privacy Policy and provide permission or setting options where reasonable.

5. Content Rules

Content means any material created, uploaded, copied, published, transmitted, sent, replied to, or otherwise generated by users through the service, including account avatars, names, profile descriptions, texts, voice, images, videos, links, posts, comments, and messages.

Users may not use a Dokki account or the service to create, upload, copy, publish, or transmit content prohibited by law, regulation, or policy, including content that:

  1. opposes constitutional principles, endangers national security, leaks state secrets, subverts state power, or undermines national unity;
  2. harms national honor or interests;
  3. incites ethnic hatred or discrimination or undermines ethnic unity;
  4. undermines religious policy or promotes cults or superstition;
  5. spreads rumors, disrupts social order, or undermines social stability;
  6. spreads obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror, or instigates crime;
  7. insults or defames others or infringes reputation, privacy, or other lawful rights;
  8. contains false, fraudulent, harmful, coercive, harassing, invasive, abusive, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable information;
  9. violates applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, or legally binding norms.

Users may not use Dokki to interfere with normal operation, harm the network ecosystem, or infringe the lawful rights of others, including by impersonation, false identity, unauthorized advertising, spam, malicious registration, technical attacks, scraping, or other abusive conduct.

6. Use Rules

  1. Content sent or published by users does not represent Dokki's views, positions, or policies, and Dokki assumes no responsibility for user content.

  2. Users may not use Dokki for illegal activities, commercial abuse without permission, harassment, fraud, infringement, malicious technical activity, or other conduct that damages Dokki, other users, or third parties.

  3. Users are solely responsible for the authenticity, legality, harmlessness, accuracy, and validity of information transmitted through their accounts. Users bear legal responsibility for their own content and shall compensate Dokki or third parties for damage caused by user conduct.

  4. Dokki services may include advertising. Users are responsible for transactions based on advertisements unless laws provide otherwise. Dokki is not responsible for losses caused by advertiser content or transactions.

  5. Without Dokki's written permission, users may not copy, sell, resell, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, crawl, disrupt, or otherwise misuse the service.

7. Account Management

  1. Ownership of Dokki accounts belongs to Dokki. After completing registration, the user obtains a right to use the account. The right belongs only to the initial registrant and may not be gifted, borrowed, rented, transferred, or sold.

  2. Users may view, edit, delete, or cancel personal data and registration information through profile and account settings, but deletion may also remove related text and images stored in the system. Users bear the related risk.

  3. Users are responsible for keeping account information and passwords secure and bear responsibility for actions under their account. If you suspect unauthorized use, notify Dokki immediately.

  4. If a user violates this agreement, Dokki may suspend or terminate account services after notice where appropriate. Dokki reserves the right to recover accounts and usernames according to rules.

  5. If a user does not log in for one year after registration, Dokki may recover the account after notice to avoid resource waste.

  6. Users may apply for account cancellation through account settings. Account cancellation is irreversible. Users should back up relevant information and handle all services before cancellation. Cancellation does not exempt responsibility for prior account conduct, and Dokki may terminate cancellation if the account is under complaint, investigation, litigation, or arbitration.

8. Data Storage

Dokki is not responsible for deletion or storage failure of user data in the service except as required by law. Dokki may determine data retention periods and storage limits according to actual conditions. Users may back up data as needed. After the service stops or terminates, Dokki may permanently delete user data from servers and has no obligation to return data unless law provides otherwise.

9. Risk Assumption

You understand and agree that Dokki provides a platform for information sharing, transmission, and acquisition. You are responsible for all actions under your account and all consequences of transmitted content. You should judge content independently and bear risks arising from reliance on content. Dokki cannot and will not be responsible for losses or damage caused by user conduct.

Dokki may unilaterally change, suspend, terminate, or revoke all or part of the service for business development needs, and users should understand and bear related risks to the extent permitted by law.

10. Intellectual Property

Except for intellectual property related to advertisements, intellectual property in content provided by Dokki, including web pages, text, images, audio, video, and charts, belongs to Dokki unless otherwise stated.

Software copyrights, patents, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property used by Dokki belong to Dokki or relevant rights holders. Without written permission, users may not display, use, process, or create derivative works based on Dokki marks or protected content.

For text, images, video, audio, software, performances, and other information uploaded or published by users, intellectual property belongs to the user or relevant rights holder, and the user bears responsibility. By publishing or uploading, the user grants Dokki and its affiliates a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, adapt, translate, compile, edit, and disseminate such content as permitted by law and product needs.

11. Legal Responsibility

If Dokki discovers or receives reports that a user violates this agreement, Dokki may review and delete relevant content, including user profiles and chat records, and may impose warnings, account bans, device bans, function bans, or other measures according to severity.

Users understand and agree that Dokki may handle violations according to reasonable judgment, preserve records, report to authorities where required, and take appropriate legal action. Users shall bear all legal responsibility arising from violations and compensate Dokki, affiliates, and partners for claims, demands, losses, and reasonable attorney fees caused by user breach.

12. Force Majeure and Other Disclaimers

During use of the service, force majeure or other risk factors may cause interruption, including natural disasters, epidemic events, war, unrest, government action, network failures, computer viruses, hacking, system instability, user device issues, communication line failures, and other causes. Dokki will make reasonable efforts to repair issues but is not liable for losses to users or third parties to the extent permitted by law.

Users should strengthen information security awareness and password protection. Dokki does not guarantee timely discovery or handling of all illegal or breaching conduct. To the extent permitted by law, Dokki is not liable for indirect, consequential, punitive, incidental, special, or penal damages, including lost profits. Dokki's total liability, regardless of cause or form, shall not exceed the fees paid by the user for Dokki services, if any, unless law requires otherwise.

13. Service Change, Interruption, and Termination

Given the nature of internet services, users agree that we may reasonably change, interrupt, or terminate part or all of the service, including paid services. We will try to notify users in advance where reasonable.

Dokki may change, interrupt, or terminate free or paid services without liability to the user or third parties if the user violates laws or agreements, submits false information, infringes others' rights, abuses the service, fails to pay, or if other circumstances make continued service impossible or inappropriate.

14. Nearby Events Service Notice and Disclaimer

The Dokki "Nearby Events" function is a location-based information-sharing platform for cultural events around users. Event information may come directly or indirectly from event organizers. Dokki publishes such information to promote cultural activities and enrich user life. User comments and messages in the function are published by users themselves. Dokki is not responsible for their authenticity, accuracy, timeliness, or completeness.

If an event organizer or rights holder believes that event information infringes lawful rights, they may contact customer service. After verifying proof materials, Dokki will perform platform publisher obligations according to law.

15. Miscellaneous

Dokki reminds users to pay attention to terms that exempt or limit Dokki's liability or restrict user rights and to read them carefully.

The validity, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this agreement are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute between the user and Dokki should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the user agrees to submit the dispute to the competent court at Dokki's domicile.

If any term is invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining terms remain valid and binding.

Live streaming services are provided by Dokki's wholly owned subsidiary, Tianjin Heer Technology Co., Ltd.

Due to rapid internet development, this agreement may not fully cover all rights and obligations between you and Dokki or meet all future needs. Dokki privacy policies, platform behavior rules, and other supplementary agreements are inseparable parts of this agreement and have the same legal effect. Using Dokki services means you agree to those supplementary agreements.
