Dokki is committed to creating a respectful, authentic, and safe space for connection.

When using private chats, location sharing, and related features, please keep the following safety suggestions in mind to better protect yourself.

Protect Your Privacy

Be careful when sharing any personal information:

Do not include or display sensitive information in public profiles, such as your real name, phone number, home address, or workplace.
Share additional personal information only with people you trust.
Do not provide financial information to anyone, including bank card details, payment accounts, or verification codes.
Watch out for phishing, scams, or fraud that uses emotion or relationships as bait.
Verification codes sent by Dokki are only for your own login or verification. Do not forward them to anyone.
If you are not comfortable using a real photo as your avatar, you may choose an image that represents your personality. Note that online images may be reverse-searched.
Before linking or sharing third-party social accounts, make sure you understand the privacy risks involved.

Protect Your Account

Use an independent password that is difficult to guess.
Do not share your account or verification codes with others.
Please understand that text, images, or location information you share in chat may be saved or forwarded by the other person.
Be extra cautious when using unsafe or public Wi-Fi. If needed, use secure network tools that comply with local laws.

Use Location Sharing Carefully

Dokki provides location-related features to help people build more authentic connections, but please note:

Location sharing is an active choice. You can decide whether to send it.
Shared locations are approximate and are not precise street addresses.
If you do not want others to know your distance or location, you can turn off location permission in your device system settings at any time.
Do not feel pressured to share your location just because someone else sent theirs.
Remember that the location someone sends may not be real.

In some regions, sexual minorities may face additional social or legal risks. Please assess your own safety when using location-related features.

Travel and Using Dokki Away From Home

Before traveling to an unfamiliar city or country, learn about local laws and the social environment.
Some regions may restrict sexual minorities or related social activity.
If you are in a potentially unsafe environment, stay highly cautious and consider advice from local nonprofit or human rights organizations.

Do Not Rush

Before meeting in person, consider learning more about the other person through chat or voice calls.
Be cautious if someone quickly pushes you to move to another platform.
Avoid sharing your home address, real-time location, or travel plans before trust has been built.
If you decide to meet offline:
- Meet for the first time in a public and safe place.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going and when.
- Stay sober and pay attention to food, drinks, and personal belongings.
- Keep control of your own return plan.

Respect Boundaries and Protect Yourself

Your orientation, body, and preferences should all be respected.
Any intimate behavior should be based on clear and ongoing consent.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and no one has the right to pressure you.
Consider regular sexual health testing and communicate honestly when appropriate.

Use Blocking and Reporting

If someone makes you uncomfortable or violates community rules:

You can block them at any time, and you will no longer be able to contact each other.
If you discover a violation, please submit feedback through the report function.
Our moderation team will carefully handle each report.

Even if you take every precaution, zero risk cannot be guaranteed. If you encounter problems outside Dokki, consider contacting local support organizations or seeking legal help when you feel safe doing so.
